My responsibilities

•

Worked across Uscreen’s multi-platform ecosystem, including the web platform, mobile apps, TV apps, and smartwatch apps, helping creators and media businesses deliver branded video membership experiences across different devices.

•

Created end-to-end product flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and design specifications for new features and improvements across the platform.

•

Owned the design of multiple product features from scratch, from early requirements, user flows, and UX concepts to high-fidelity UI, prototypes, development handoff, implementation support, and QA review.

•

Mentored two mid-level product designers on the team, providing design feedback, reviewing their work, helping them structure product flows, and supporting consistency across platform experiences.

•

Built Uscreen’s design system from the ground up, defining reusable components, interaction patterns, visual guidelines, and scalable foundations that improved consistency and design delivery across web, mobile, TV, and wearable apps.

  1. Helping creators turn their video content into branded membership websites

Uscreen customers needed a simple way to create their own websites and landing pages to sell video content, subscriptions, and memberships without relying on developers, designers, or external website-building tools. The goal was to make website creation fast and accessible, so even non-technical users could launch a branded page on their own.

Page Builder was Uscreen’s no-code website builder created for this purpose. It allowed creators, educators, and media businesses to assemble their own websites using ready-made design sections and editable content blocks. Users could customize layouts, text, images, colors, and visual styles to match their brand, promote their video products, and create a professional-looking website directly inside the Uscreen platform.

The main challenge was the extremely tight timeline. The feature had to be researched, redesigned, tested, and prepared for implementation within one month, which meant the design process had to move quickly without losing clarity or quality.

The timeline created a strong constraint: the solution had to be simple enough to design and build quickly, but still flexible enough to support real customer needs. I had to balance speed, usability, technical feasibility, and product quality, while working closely with product and engineering to make sure the feature could be delivered on time.

I designed the system of editable website blocks from scratch, including hero banners, galleries, testimonials, video sections, benefits blocks, subscription pricing, image blocks, quotes, buttons, app and TV platform sections, and custom HTML blocks.

I also designed the core editing tools inside the builder, including the color picker, text editing experience, block settings, and style controls, so customers could adapt every section to their own brand without needing coding or design skills.

The builder included a library of 50+ editable website blocks that users could use as ready-made templates for their own branded pages including hero banners, galleries, testimonials, videos, benefits, pricing, FAQs, contact sections, maps, quizzes, app previews, and custom HTML.

Each block was polished by default, but flexible enough to customize with the user’s own content, colors, typography, backgrounds, images, videos, and visual style. I also worked on the core editing tools, including text editing, block settings, style controls, and the color picker system, so customers could build professional-looking websites without coding or design skills.

Achievements

•

Delivered the full website builder design from scratch in two weeks from research, UX concepts, prototyping, and testing to production-ready handoff helping the team successfully launch the feature within one month.

•

Strengthened Uscreen’s competitive position by launching a self-serve website builder that differentiated the product, made it easier to sell, and contributed to a 5% sales increase in the first month.

•

Helped customers create more competitive video businesses by giving them a fully self-serve way to build polished branded websites, improve the end-user experience, and drive more content and subscription sales.

  1. Expanding user experiences across TV and Apple Watch

Many Uscreen customers created fitness and wellness content, so their users needed a better way to follow workouts at home. The Roku TV app allowed them to browse fitness videos and follow classes on a large screen, with a simple TV interface adapted for remote control navigation.

The scope covered a full set of screens, states, and reusable content cards for the TV app experience. This included sign-up and login flows, menu states, the home page, video player, video details, author profiles, favorites, search, account settings, subscriptions, live events, and streaming pages.

This work expanded Uscreen’s fitness experience across TV and Apple Watch, helping creators offer a more complete home workout product. The TV app made it easier for users to browse, watch, save, and follow fitness content on a large screen, while the Apple Watch app added real-time workout tracking and made the experience feel more connected.

Achievements

•

Designed a full TV app experience across key user flows, including onboarding, login, home page, video playback, search, favorites, collections, account settings, subscriptions, live events, and content discovery.

•

Improved the value of fitness subscriptions by giving end users a more complete home workout experience across TV and Apple Watch, helping creators increase paid subscriptions by ~7% and receive stronger positive feedback from their audience.

•

Strengthened Uscreen’s competitive advantage by adding a TV app experience that was especially valuable for fitness and wellness creators, helping differentiate the platform from competitors and contributing to a ~3% increase in paid plan conversions from creator businesses after launch.

  1. Turning complex internal data into clear CRM workflows

This case focused on Uscreen’s internal CRM and admin tools, where the main goal was to help internal teams work with large amounts of content, user, and business data in a clearer and more efficient way.

The work included data-heavy interfaces, dashboards, tables, filters, content moderation flows, status management, and visual summaries that made complex information easier to scan and act on.

The challenge was to turn raw data into clear CRM workflows for content review, moderation, metrics, and decision-making.

The work also included complex multi-step forms for uploading and configuring content inside the CRM. These forms supported large amounts of data from metadata, descriptions, categories, pricing, and access settings to media files and publishing options while making the process clearer, faster, and easier to complete.

Achievements

•

Improved complex CRM workflows by turning data-heavy tables, forms, and moderation tools into clearer, more structured interfaces that helped internal teams review content and make decisions faster.

•

Reduced user-reported UX issues around content upload and management by ~30% by simplifying complex forms, improving field hierarchy, clarifying statuses, and making data-heavy pages easier to scan and complete.

•

Made content setup faster and less error-prone by improving multi-step forms, table layouts, filters, validation states, and publishing workflows, helping internal users upload and manage content more efficiently.

Together, these projects helped Uscreen become a more powerful end-to-end platform for video businesses. From launching branded websites to delivering content across devices and managing operations behind the scenes. The work improved product flexibility, strengthened the platform’s market position, and made complex creator workflows easier to use at scale.
